Default We will be here to listen

Hi I am Board Forum Blogger

I have had problems with marijuana, so I thought I would set up this forum for addicts of drugs or alcohol. It’s true what they say it really does help to share, especially with those who are experiencing or have experienced the same thing, that’s why groups like alcoholics and narcotics anonymous, are so successful at helping people stay clean and sober, the only problem is that they are not available 24/7, so if you need to get something off your chest anytime day or night, we will be here to listen.

So if you feel you have a problem please post, not only will it help you, but it will also help others.

    Take care

    Talking notme!

I also have been dealing with alcohol and drug addiction since my teens, and I'm really excited about this site, I have found that when I need to talk to some one at the time I need to talk to some one is not the time some one is around to talk, Here I can and I know I am going to talk to someone who knows what Im going through or have gone through and they know all the lies that I am going to tell because they have already told them, so we can get all that **** out of the way and get down to healing. thank you forumblogger

Yes, thank you ms blogger. I am using this forum as my main source of support, like many others. It makes me feel much less alone to know that at any time, I can talk to people who are going through the same things, and therefore understand perfectly about the challenges. I can usually find good input from the forums, and often don't need to post anything...just read what others who have already been there have to say about it. That encouragement is vital to me atm. Thank you so much for your time and commitment to helping others overcome their addiction. You rock!

Thanks for starting this thread. I am new to the community and it helps to have a support group. Been clean since 11-22-09 (day after my birthday). Its obviously really hard and takes a lot of work, but its going well. I have a sponsor now. It was hard getting adjusted to talking to someone about everything. If anyone else is having the same problem, this new iPhone app helped. Go to iTunes and type "12 Step Sponsor Dial" in the search tool bar. It was free to download....

I also found a new group of clean friends and picked up some new hobbies. I also started working out - which helps me feel even healthier. Staying busy and positive is key!

I went to a drug rehab called Klean Treatment Center. Looking for others in the LA area who would be interested in meeting up. If anyone else out there went to Klean Treatment Center - I'd love to talk!

I used to work in a drug and alcohol treatment center. I'm more than happy to listen and try to help others even though my problems (knock on wood-one day at a time) are far behind me.
