Default Marijuana changes your lifestyle personality

I have been thinking recently about how marijuana has changed my personality, I have used for a good few years and I think it has left me more introvert and less sociable. I don’t seem to mix with people as much as I used to and all the people I do mix with tend to be other smokers, I think it has also left me a more paranoid person who is more prone to anxiety. Has anybody else noticed that marijuana has changed their lifestyle or personality in anyway?

    There's a proverb saying ' QUI S'ASSEMBLE SE RESSEMBLE '

Literal meaning: Those who look alike associate together.
Idiomatic translation: Like attracts like / Birds of a feather flock together.

Yeah i used to hang out with potheads too, with the recent events, i have obviously influenced everyone else, some more than others, some are following me , some are not, some are waiting to see how i react and what is gonna happen with me.

Yeah i also stayed home a lot and did not go out because it's a vicious cycle, you put your money into weed, thus making you unable to spend that same money on some REAL good stuff like going out to eat with friends to a restaurant, to the movies, to a museum etc.

I think that people adapt to their own lifestyles.

When your hooked on any drug, all that seems to matter is taking that drug, everything else just falls by the wayside.

When I smoke all I want to do is eat, watch telly and play video games. When I don’t I do so much more, I go out and live my life to the full.

I never had a problem going out but I did find I was a bit introverted and didn't make eye contact with people due to some paranoia. but since I quit I feel a bit more social but other problems have arose with anxiety and depression which is'nt treating me so good right now.

    Default From a Moedrate Pothead

    Hi guys,

It's an interesting subject, i know, and would like to tackle it with other potheads.

I've been smoking for two years around 3 times a week, more or less, and I noticed that I became more outgoing, bolder, and more sociable.

My memory hadn't been great before I started smoking. So, I don't notice any major changes before and after smoking. What i'm doing now, though, is taking Omega 3 pills (fish oil), which is the best for your brain.

My only advice is to NOT smoke everyday. As such, the taste of the euphoria will be still tasty!

    PEACE,

    Post Lifestyle Changes

Pot didn't change me in any way I don't think. Like I became more paranoid but its not me I want to talk about.

Pot changed my ex boyfriend in plenty of ways. He....

---Became more anti social with people who were not potheads
...Accutley I don't recall him hanging with any of his friends sober
    ---He became careless
---He had a hard time grasping the most simplest of concepts for ex. I told him "pot is just as bad as alcohol in the way they are both addictive" He never understood that. I told him that probbly about 6 times and over.
---He became extreamly closed minded when it came to things besides pot
--- If he didn't have pot his temper would get very short
--- He would forget things very easily.
--- He got heavier in weight, but that has nothing to do with personality
---Lost interest in things (ex, he rarely played the love of his life, the guitar)
---He became very angry and negative

Those are some of the ways he changed. He was a willing addict. He knew he had a problem, but didn't give a crap who it hurt and how it hurt them. He wanted to smoke, smoke, and smoke some more. I guess that's why it was so hard to try and help him cut back or quite, which is what I spent my last stressballs doing and I guess it was so hard because he didn't want to in the first place, and I don't think he ever will, that I know of.

You know, before he had this weed problem, he was a very smart, logical guy, with a great personality anyone could just die for. He was funny, and could remember so many things, which made him smart. He passed high school with flying colors and loved his hobbies and was all about peace and love on earth. As time went by all he talked about was wanting to kill half the population and how he hates this, and hates that. There was no peace anymore. Just anger. Pot ironically has made him far from being what he used to be, which was a lovable, fun, hippie.

So pot changes some one in many, many ways. It is different for everyone. That's just my comment for this question.
