y fiancé has just given up the weed (15 days), he is very determined and doing really well but he is having extreme vivid nightmares, killing, being chased, being killed, chasing women (he is particularly disturbed by this dream), zombies, you name it he has them, he often wakes up from these dreams but on going back to sleep, re-enters the dream where he left off. He is getting very little sleep and it is affecting his job (he is a builder so the job is manual labour).
He is on the verge of going back to weed in desperation of a good night’s sleep. He gave up previously for 3 months, but the dreams were still as vivid and he ended up back on the weed. He doesn’t want this due to a change in the law in the UK re driving under the influence of drugs. He can’t afford to lose his licence but he is at the end of this tether.
Has anyone got any tips for us so that he can get a good night’s sleep?
I previously smoked weed for 20 years but have been clean now for 5 years. I didn’t suffer in the same way as I wasn’t a heavy smoker.
