I really need to get a flu shot this year but I don't know how to get one I can afford. The grocery store is offering them for $25 which doesn't seem like much but I'd like to find someplace to get them for free. Does anyone know of anyplace?

Have you called your local health department? Even if they don't have a program for free shots, they can maybe tell you if there is a program in your community. If you are a senior or in some other special category, be sure to mention that, in case that makes a difference.
It's funny but here in the UK they are offered free to anyone over 65 or in an "at risk" category, yet my husband is both of these and he refuses to have one!
